Portable Music Studio for Live Performances
Entire package includes the following:

This is a primo, solid, heavy-duty case designed for travel and fast load/unload at entertainment venues. While it may look huge, it's basically a 22" cube. (A little over knee height.) Notice the UP arrow and nearby lifting handle (yes, there's another handle on the other side.) Notice the 4 visible latches, front and back, that make access to front and rear fast and easy. |
SKB ATA 12-space Rack Mount Case,
Here, I have removed the front cover to show you the control panels of some of the equipment. (Notice the slight curvature of the case? Actually the case is straight. The curvature is caused by the el cheapo plastic lens on my el cheapo digital camera.) |
SKB ATA 12-space Rack Mount Case,
Here's another view from a different angle. The case is sitting on a flat-bed dolly at the storage facility. |
Control Panels (Top to Bottom) Furman PL8 Power/Light Module,
Here's a close up of the different units within the case - see descriptions underneath. (Again, the case is straight, curvature cause by the camera lens.) |
Fostex DMT8 8-Track Digital Multitracker
Here's the 8 track Fostex Multitracker that set me back $2,000. It's First Class. Like all the other stuff. |
Here's the Multitracker sitting atop the case to give you a sense of the relative size. |
Another view taken in the shade instead of the sun. |
Here's a close up of the Multitracker. Using the right features, you can use this Fostex recorder as a 16-track system. (I couldn't get a closer close-up without severe distortion by the el cheapo lens. Again the sides are straight - curvature caused by the lens - compare with above photo.) |
When I ordered this system, I told the designer, James Musgrave, I didn't want to make any trips to Radio Shack for wire, cable, clamp, anything. He delivered everything I needed. Everything. The bottom half of this photo shows the cables, some extra, that are included in this package. For the top half, see the next photo. |
On the right-hand side, there's "The Rode" microphone, shock mount, foam wind screen, and Tube Preamp Processor, and foam-lined carrying case, which holds the mic, shock-mount, and wind screen. PS: The mic looks a little strange. The black apparatus is the shock-mount, which looks strange at this angle. I should have photographed them separately. In the next row, there's the awesome Roland DR6 Drum Machine w/Instruction Video & Manual |
This space reserved for a photo of documentation and Pair of Audix reference monitors |
Damn! I forgot to shoot the Audix speakers and other documentation. |
