Now that you have created a Master Slide, you must insert some slides based on the master Slide. NOTE: You can have only one Master Slide per presentation file.

Inserting a new slide

1. Select Insert | New Slide, or click Insert New Slide on Standard Toolbar, or type <Ctrl>+M.

This will insert a new slide, based on the Master Slide, after the current slide (where cursor is located). This command can be used in any view except Slide Show.

2. Next, insert a three slides based on the Master Slide by selecting Insert | New Slide or type <Ctrl>+M several times.

3. Notice that the Status bar (bottom-right) shows the current slide number and total number of slides.
