Lesson 6: Inserting Images

In this lesson you'll learn how to insert lines and shapes and how to move, resize, rotate and connect them.

Inserting an Image

1. Select Insert | Image or click Image on the Drawing Toolbar.

This will bring up the Open dialog. You can insert image file types such as, GIF (*.gif), JPEG (*.jpg), etc.

2. In the Open File dialog, choose the desired File Type and navigate to the desired image file.

3. Click Open or double-click the file name.

The cursor will change to a cross.

4. Place the cross where to insert the image then click/drag the mouse to specify the image area.

5. If necessary, adjust the image size by dragging the handles provided.
